Protein + Glucose #2

Protein poisoning is caused by excessive protein minus carbs and fat.

Drinking too much water makes a bad situation worse.

Elmer Verner McCollum (The Newer Knowledge of Nutrition: The Use of Food for the Preservation of Vitality and Health, 1922) wrote …

“When the animals were changed to the milk-glucose diet, both the psychical and physical attitude underwent a great change. They no longer held their heads in their hands, but assumed an erect posture and were alert and bright, and showed a keen interest in their surroundings. Their appetites became sharp and the food was consumed with more avidity. The eyes, which were dull and lusterless while on the egg diet, became bright. They no longer attempted to chew the woodwork of the cage. The products of putrefaction of protein almost disappeared from the urine. The evidence from human experience seems sufficient to warrant the conclusion that similar changes in the diet of man induce similar modification in the bacterial flora of the intestinal tract. One may safely conclude that excessive consumption of meat, with but small and insignificant amounts of carbohydrates, tends to promote the generation of toxic substances which induce lethargy in both man and animals.”

According to the same source …

“It appears that the carnivorous peoples have much the same attitude toward physical exertion as have carnivorous animals. When well fed they are lethargic and remain idle, or do work that requires little exertion. They bestir themselves only when pressed by hunger to do so. Dr. Grenfell [Sir Wilfred Thomason Grenfell, a medical missionary to Newfoundland] states that the Eskimo is an inferior fisherman and will catch one fish to a white man’s ten. This we may safely attribute, in part at least, to intoxication from poisons of bacterial origin, due to putrefaction of protein in the intestine.”

This intoxication mainly involves two metabolites of tryptophan — fecal indole and skatole.

My intro to these two intestinal degradation compounds was in the 1970s, while being certified as a “super duper pooper scooper” in Mesa, Arizona, by Dr. Merrill Roy.

The world’s largest producer of fish oils boasts, “Omega-3s from Menhaden Oil Can Save Billions in Healthcare Costs.” There’s a better way — Fill all the world’s industrial incinerators with all the world’s fish oil supplements, then we really can save billions in healthcare costs. Government guidelines advise eating fish only 2–3 times a week so we don’t get overburdened with mercury and other toxins. What if this warning is a sham? What if it’s for a more underhanded reason? What if it’s to keep human Yellow Fat Disease at a subclinical, “idiopathic” level so mega-corporations can keep banking billions of dollars selling us fish oil supplements and fish products that are dangerous to our health? What if many diseases of “unknown cause” really do have a cause — known only to certain corporate and government insiders? What if fish isn’t the ideal food we’re told it is? What if fish oil — just-made or completely rancid — is a poison for most of us? Can cod liver oil kill your dog? Your cat? Your horse? Your chickens? Can cod liver oil kill a human being?

Why does a government agency like NASA (National Aviation and Space Administration) want to market a product that gives infants premature Alzheimer’s disease (premature lipofuscinosis)? According to a NASA website, “To create Formulaid [infant formula], the company extracted the oil from the algae cells and combined it with another fatty acid, arachidonic acid, taken from a species of fungus. Both are found in human breast milk but were not in most baby formulas at the time. Martek then discovered, developed, and commercialized a different strain of algae, Schizochytrium, to make DHA-rich oils for human nutritional supplement and food and beverage applications. DHA omega-3 oil from this algae is now used in more than 500 human products, and Schizochytrium algae is also used to produce DHAgold for animal feed applications.” Note the phrase “discovered, developed, and commericalized” — code for biotech. DHA gold ™ is fed to chickens and marketed as “omega-3 eggs,” “omega-3 mayonnaise,” “omega-3 cereal,” etc.

I was in the second row at a Deepak Chopra lecture when a lady in a wheelchair was helped into the seat in front of me.

She turned around and said, “I have MS. I try to visualize standing up every day.”

“So you’re telling me you’re twice removed from standing up?” I replied.

“What do you mean?” She looked puzzled.

“Not only do you visualize standing up instead of standing up, but you TRY to visualize instead of standing up.”

She turned around without a word.

A minute later, she stood up.

She remained standing up for a short while, then she sat down.

Almost another minute went by before she turned around and beamed, “I stood up.”

    “I noticed.” I said.

Multiple sclerosis can be precipitated by being “frozen in place” with fear as a child.

“Alienation multiplies needs because it can satisfy none of them; nowadays lack of satisfaction is measured in the number of cars, refrigerators, Tvs: the alienating objects have lost the ruse and mystery of transcendence, they are there in their concrete poverty. To be rich today is to possess the greatest number of poor objects.” — Raoul Vaneigem
