WAYS OF EATING trump Food Combining.

(1) Annoyance delays digestion, sometimes for hours.

Being annoyed causes bile to be sucked out of the duodenum and up into the stomach.

(2) Hard or prolonged exercise before eating interferes with digestion.

Light exercise, like a leisurely stroll through the woods, assists digestion.

(3) Alcohol retards digestion and causes stomach morbidity.

It’s a major cause of sterility in both men and women, erectile dysfunction in men, and spontaneous abortion in women.

Stomach Time (7:00-9:00 am) is 180 degrees opposite Uterus Time (7:00-9:00 pm).

A teaspoon to a tablespoon of alcohol can aid digestion.

Common salt at the end of a meal can relieve stomach morbidity.

(4) Eating to excess retards digestion.

Eat modestly for breakfast for a better immodest time in the evening.

Belly fat is a major cause of erectile dysfunction – but not of clitoral dysfunction.

It’s no accident that Viagra is a remedy for heartburn.

(5) Eating too fast retards digestion.

“Slow down, you move too fast” is good advice.

(6) Eating too frequently retards digestion.

It causes a perpetual “alkaline tide” that can uncoil DNA and promote inflammation.

(7) Eating with a stomach temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or less delays digestion.

If you feel “chilled to the bone,” you may have a stomach temperature disorder.

Conversely, a stomach temperature above 102 degrees delays digestion – and it can cause stomach morbidity.

(8) Wearing “cool” colors too often can retard digestion.

Wearing your “trauma color” counteracts digestion.

As for Food Combining, some joker probably ate meat and potatoes and got a bellyache.

Meat and squash combine well at midday.

Fish and potatoes combine well at night.

A “cool” color can actually promote digestion at night.

Now you know why so many seafood restaurants favor blue decor.

Raw foods digest faster and easier than cooked ones.

An exception to this rule is the potato.

Meat can be chewed less than fruit and vegetables.

Not chewing fruit or vegetables thoroughly has both acute and chronic effects.

Not chewing meat thoroughly has only chronic effects, especially if you eat it at midday.

Your stomach temperature is warmer at 2:00 pm than it is at 8:00 am.

A sour, acid, or tart fruit eaten by itself can cause stomach morbidity; e.g., an apple.

An apple is designed to be married to an almond.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

An apple and a soaked almond a day keeps the mortician away.

A sour, acid, or tart vegetable eaten by itself can cause stomach morbidity.

If you follow a Mono Diet, it’s best to know what you’re doing.

The exception to the Sour Rule is the Citrus Rule: Eat them alone or leave them alone.

Ditto the Melon Rule: Eat them alone or leave them alone.

Type 2 diabetes can be easily cured by removing the duodenum.

Unfortunately, type 2 diabetes (an aging disorder) is a defense against cancer (an anti-aging disorder) and high cholesterol (an anti-aging agent).

Type 2 diabetes is NOT a defense against metastasis (an aging disorder).

Intellect can produce Protruding Gut Syndrome.

Samuel Lepkovsky (“The Role of the Chemical Senses in Nutrition,” The Chemical Senses and Nutrition (edited by Morley R. Kare & Owen Maller, 1977) wrote …

“Schopenhauer represented pleasure as an absence of pain (cited by Sherrington, 1947). After the hunger sensations are abolished animals cease to eat, but many human beings continue to eat. It has been generally accepted that human beings derive pleasure from eating after hunger has been abolished and metabolic satiety has been achieved. Brillat-Savarin (1960) aptly stated that it is a ‘privilege of the human species to eat without hunger and to drink without thirst.’ Sherrington (1947) pointed out that pleasure is largely experienced in the cerebral cortex but pain is experienced lower in the brainstem. It may be inferred that the more highly developed cerebral cortex as in man is essential to sense pleasures which accompany meals with desirable flavors. This difference in eating behavior between human beings and animals is due, in all probability, to the more highly developed cerebrum of human beings. This is supported by the eating behavior of one human being whose cerebral cortex did not interfere with his choice of food (Katz, 1953). A young man, 24 years old, had gas poisoning. He was unable to remember anything longer than two seconds. From this time his feeding was entirely governed by his bodily needs: conscious memories could no longer play and part. He appeared for meals when hunger and thirst made him. He never over-ate but stopped eating when satisfied. Once satisfied, nothing on the table attracted him any longer. He knew that he should not eat or drink – of course he did not really know, but so his organism directed.'”

Folks who live NOW don’t overeat.

You know, Rhianne, I’ve looked and looked an looked, and I can’t really find any authentic evidence against combining fruit and greens.

It doesn’t work for me, but it may be a psychological aversion.

Perhaps the rule should be: If you can eat the ingredients of your smoothie on a plate together, then there should be no problem juicing them together.

Combining Growth Zone foods is usually – not always – more relevant than combining chemistry.

Under certain conditions the body can revert back to the Stomach Clock from the Circadian Clock.

A baby is timed to the Stomach Clock, and evolves into the Circadian Clock.

The switchover is usually completed by the age of two or three when the karma is photon-inscribed into the iris (Deck, 1965).

Re: The “mother” of green smoothies is Victoria Boutenko; she has research, and she says that apes in the wild will eat greens and fruit together, and look at them!

Jack LaLanne (1914-2011) and Gypsy Boots (1914-2004) mixed them together, and they were prime examples of exceptional health.

I hung out with Gypsy and his eighteen-year-old girlfriend when he was in his seventies.

He sometimes fronted his son’s rock band.

Gypsy popularized the word “smoothie” on the Steve Allen Show, where he appeared 25 times, often swinging onto the set on a vine.

THE MIGHTY ATOM (1893-1977) mixed fruits and vegetables.

He could change a flat without any tools and support a fourteen-man Dixieland band on his chest while lying on a bed of nails.

He could easily bite quarters, railroad spikes, and dental mirrors in half.

The Mighty Atom (Joseph L. Greenstein) was 5’4″ tall and weighed only 140 pounds.

As a teenager, under the tutelage of the Russian strongman “Champion Volanko,” The Mighty Atom mastered breath control at Lung Time (3:00-5:00 am), curing himself of TB in the process.

He was shot between the eyes at close range with a .38-.40 caliber revolver in his twenties, and he simply walked to a pharmacy to buy a Band-Aid.

He could keep an airplane from taking off by tethering it to his hair.

Adano claimed The Mighty Atom was Samson reincarnated.

When eating an apple is it sufficient to eat the entire apple including the seeds if a soaked almond isn’t nearby?

What are your experiences with eating insects? Are they zone 3? Species active at dusk/night, fireflies, junebugs, mosquitos, grasshoppers, cicadas.

Yes, the seeds can provide enough protein.

      Good question. :)

Usually, what insects feed on determines their Growth Zone.

Scorpion is best eaten at Kidney Time (5:00-7:00 pm).

    Dear Atom : )

What about ‘before’ & ‘after’: for the salads (vegetables, starters, etc) and ‘main meal’ (meat, fish, etc.)? Together or one after the other would ‘digest better? /given that all of the foods come on time/ : )
(‘Together’ /depending on the foods, and chewing very well, of course/ works pretty well with ‘me’. And the quantity is altogether less.. every time.)
    Thank you! : )

Before is best, but taking a bite or two of protein before mixing it all together still gets the proper enzymatic message to the digestive organs. :)

Thank you, RadioGuGu, for sending me the link for the David Wolfe YouTube video.

I don’t usually put links on my blog, but anyone who wants to check this interesting one out can find it easily under “David Wolfe Ted Talk” or “David Wolfe Passion for Chocolate.”
