Ray Peat (“Eclampsia in the Real Organism: A Paradigm of General Distress Applicable in Infants, Adults, Etc.,” 2006-2016) wrote …

“… a woman who was 6 months pregnant called me around 10 o’clock one morning, to say that she had gone blind, and was alone in her country house. She said she had just eaten breakfast around 9 AM, and wasn’t hungry, but I knew that the 6 month fetus has a great need for glucose, so I urged her to eat some fruit. She called me 15 minutes later to report that she had eaten a banana, and her vision had returned.”

According to Wikipedia (last edited Sept. 9, 2019) …

“Eclampsia is the onset of seizures (convulsions) in a woman with pre-eclampsia. Pre-eclampsia is a disorder of pregnancy in which there is high blood pressure and either large amounts of protein in the urine or other organ dysfunction.”

Paul Titus, M.D., & M.H. Givens, Ph.D. (“Intravenous Injections of Glucose in Toxemia of Pregnancy,” The Journal of the American Medical Association, Jan, 14, 1922) wrote …

“The regenerating powers of the normal liver have been repeatedly referred to by various experimenters, and a most graphic description of this ability is made by Davis, Hall and Whipple when they recall that the speed of repair of the normal liver following a type necrosis such as that due to chloroform ‘exceeds any growth speed with which we are familiar. To illustrate: A healthy adult human of 75 kilograms, or 165 pounds, body weight, will possess a liver weighing 1,700 gm. A suitable chloroform anesthesia during a fasting period will destroy one half or more of this liver tissue, perhaps 800 gm. Under favorable circumstances complete repair can be effected in from seven to nine days … approximately 100 gm. per day, and might well exceed 150 gm. Formation of new tissue at the rate of 100 to 150 gm. per day means the construction of a mass of liver cells the size of the normal spleen or kidney every twenty-four hours. This speed of growth on the part of a neoplasm would most assuredly command the respect, if not the admiration, of the surgeon.’

“We have noted clinical evidences of the therapeutic value of glucose injections, such as the prompt cessation of pernicious vomiting and disappearance of the jaundice, occasional recurrences of the emesis [vomiting] within the next few hours or days being again promptly relieved by another injection; an almost immediate lessening of choreiform movements [repetitive and rapid, jerky, involuntary movement that appears to be well-coordinated] in chorea gravidarum [a complication of pregnancy which can be associated with eclampsia and its effects upon the basal ganglia]: a diminution in the severity and a lengthening of the interval between eclamptic convulsions. In one such case the convulsions immediately became shorter and less severe, with a longer interval, only to increase in severity and frequency after a few hours of improvement. A second injection of glucose again relieved the condition to a definite extent and was later followed by a third. The patient recovered after having been in an eclamptic state for about twenty hours, during which time she had ten convulsions following her entrance to the hospital and an uncertain number before admission.”

Linda Stratmann (Chloroform: The Quest for Oblivion, 2004) wrote …

“Consumers concerned about the amount of chloroform in drinking water are advised to remove it by aerating the water in a blender. Boiling water will remove both chlorine and chloroform. Carbon filters are effective, but must be replaced regularly according to the manufacturers’ instructions.”

According to the same source …

“By far the greatest risks of high chloroform exposure are in the workplace, during the production or use of chloroform, or its indirect formation in industrial processes.”

According to Adano Ley, hair is a piezoelectric transducer that selectively filters electromagnetic signals in the audio frequency range.
The piezoelectricity is generated by the keratin protein structure of hair by barometric pressure.
G.H. Estabrooks (“Sense and Nonsense in Sensations,” Scientific American, Feb. 1937) wrote …
“Pressure spots are located all over the skin, especially at the bases of hairs.”
Adano insisted, “Hair is a biosonic neurolinguistic sensor. All our thoughts are the recycled thoughts of space brothers.”
He explained we chiefly use our hair as antennae to receive these thoughts (and claim them as our own).
“What about bald people?” I fretted.
“They can still use precipitation,” Adano replied.

Paramahansa Yogananda bilocated from Southern California to Canada to initiate Adano Ley in his bathtub on a Saturday night.
“I felt his big thumb on my forehead,” commented Adano.
Adano was later officially initiated into SRF by Swami Kriyananda.
    J. Donald Walters, aka Swami Kriyananda (The Path: Autobiography of a Western Yogi, 1977) wrote …
“My own feeling was that the best place to serve was Mt. Washington. But one day we were discussing our need for disciples with certain talents, and I mentioned Adano Ley, our center leader in Montreal, Canada. ‘Why don’t you invite him to come here, Master? He is doing very good work there.’ ‘If he is doing good work there,’ Master [Paramahansa Yogananda] replied somewhat indignantly, ‘Why bring him here?'”
“What makes a student ready for a Master?” wrote Adano from Canada.
Yogananda replied, covering both sides of a single piece of paper with only one word, “Frustration, frustration, frustration, etc.”
    According to Adano …
“The Master is frustrationless, but the student is frustration total.”
Adano asked Yogananda to recommend “a hundred books on God.”
Yogananda wrote back, “Dear Mr. Adano Ley, What are all the books on God compared to fifteen minutes in the silence of the soil?”
Years later, in an airport terminal in Dallas, Texas, Master Charan Singh filled Adano’s brain with “ALL the books.”
Adano misread “SOIL” as “SOUL.” When he finally became a Swami, he realized there is no such thing as a “soul.”
Yogananda wrote Adano and told him to teach meditation, but Adano didn’t even know HOW to meditate, let alone how to teach it.
Adano sat in his favorite Greek restaurant in Montreal pondering the dilemma.
He was the sole customer till a rugged and husky backwoodsman dramatically trudged past the empty seats and plopped down at Adano’s table.
The stranger discoursed on meditation and philosophy, precipitating a stimulating conversation.
Adano was invited to the man’s house to continue the discussion, and he promised to teach Adano how to meditate.
They walked to a nearby three-story house.
The man produced a key to the downstairs apartment, and they entered a spacious room packed with sundry antiques.
The woodsman removed his hat and coat, claimed a cozy chair, announcing, “This is how you meditate, boy.”
He closed his eyes and completely ignored Adano.
Soon after his meditation “lesson,” Yogananda sent a man and woman to Adano for meditation instructions.
Adano decided to introduce them to his new acquaintance for more instructions.
The three approached the woodsman’s house and knocked on the door.
    No answer.
Adano continued knocking till an annoyed woman poked her head out of an upstairs window, demanding to know the trio’s business.
Adano described who they were looking for, and the woman asserted she knew of no such person, and nobody lived downstairs anyway.
In fact, no one had lived there for years.
She opened the downstairs door with her own key to prove the point.
The numerous antiques were gone. The room was dusty and empty.
It was obvious that the cobwebby room had been unoccupied for quite some time.
Adano and his companions knocked on doors up and down the street in an attempt to locate the mysterious backwoodsman.
Adano never saw his meditation “teacher” again.
“Lost weekend experience” was Adano’s term for this kind of unexplained occurrence.

“When you stop the pain, where does it go?” I asked a miner turned reflexologist in Tucson.
“What do you mean, where does it go?” he repeated.
“Pain is energy, and energy can’t be destroyed. It has to go someplace, so where does it go?” I said.

If pain stays in the body, other parts of the anatomy end up hurting.
People seldom suspect that a pain in the arm is related to one in the ribs, or a pain in the foot is related to one in the hand.
    <>
“Pain can only leave the body from two places, the north end or the south end, the mouth or the anus,” I continued. “Pain is caused by oxygen, and numbness is caused by carbon dioxide. Yawning or farting moves pain out of the body.”

Yawning is the secret to losing weight, draining edema, lowering high blood pressure, resolving trauma, surviving a hospital visit, awakening Kundalini, etc. According to Adano Ley, “God’s yawn is our inspiration.” / (0) Are You Ready to Walk the Wind?
