White Muscle Disease is just another way of saying Yellow Fat Disease.

They’re both caused by HUFAs and PUFAs — highly-unsaturated fatty acids (omega-3s) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-6).

HUFAs? Think EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).

According to Wikipedia …

“While the potential roles of DHA in the mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease are under active research, studies of fish oil supplements, which contain DHA, have failed to support claims of preventing cardiovascular diseases.”

(Somehow the Macho Medical Media Mafia assigned to monitor the Church of Wikipedia let the above statement slip through their surveillance network.)

So White Muscle Disease is Yellow Fat Disease under another name.

So is Nutritional Myodegeneration (NMD) and …

Nutritional Muscular Dystrophy

Mulberry Heart Disease

Hepatosis Dietetica

Stiff Lamb Disease

It’s politically incorrect to name the numerous human versions of Yellow Fat Disease.

According to “Nutritional Myopathies in Ruminants and Pigs,” The Merck Veterinary Manual, 2009-2015 …

“In mulberry heart disease, the characteristic lesions are a pericardial sac grossly distended with straw-colored fluid that contains fibrin strands, and extensive hemorrhage throughout the epicardium and myocardium. Microscopically, the heart shows both vascular and myocyte lesions; in addition to interstitial hemorrhage, there is usually extensive myocardial necrosis together with fibrin thrombi in capillaries.”

    Progressive Lipofuscinosis.

    It’s also called Cumulative Lipofuscinosis — the progressive buildup of lipopigments.

    It’s progressive entropy, ongoing deterioration, decline, decay, degradation, degeneration.

    Lipopigments accumulate in the heart, liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, retina, nerves, mitochondria, lysosomes, etc.

    Sounds a lot like aging, doesn’t it?

    If excess protein is converted into glucose, then wouldn’t it be wiser for snacks to have a protein snack rather than fruit, as then, you’ll get the protein if your in need, and if not you’ll convert and get the sugar!?

      Deamination is mildly toxic due to ammonia, ketones, etc.

      It’s more toxic in the presence of PUFAs and HUFAs.

          Reminds me of one of those prescription drug commercials on TV.

    On your new anti HUFA and PUFA campaign, you said you regretted the mayo. But, I’m sure you weren’t on store bought?! There would be no H/PUFA’s in egg yolk, olive oil and salt?!

      There are usually few H/PUFAs in egg yolk and olive oil, and none in salt.

      I was addicted to the PUFAs in Trader Joe’s Organic Mayonnaise (disregarding Swami Nitty-Gritty’s advice to make my own).

      I’ve even had mayo dreams, once (in a dream) earning $14 a week in a part-time job delivering mayo to Abraham Lincoln at his mansion in the Hollywood Hills.

      Then there was that Fudge-onnaise dream.
