A Boiled Orange At Spleen Time

According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) …

“The best vitamin C on a tree is from citrus.”

“Eat citrus at room temperature. A refrigerated orange causes citric acid to form gas.”

“Iron is the core of vitamin C.”

“Citric acid is vitamin C without iron.”

“Citric acid polishes iron. Iron oxides are in varicose veins.”

“Varicose veins are caused by iron oxides.”

“Citric acid riboflavins have the capacity to chelate excess iron out of veins.”

“Eat a three-minute orange for varicose veins or capillary fragility.”

“Eat a boiled orange at Spleen Time.”

“Take one orange per day for every month of your life.”

“Varicose veins are body language for ‘always missing the boat’.”

“The policeman arrives first to direct traffic. Then comes the ambulance, and then the wrecker moves the damaged vehicles so that traffic can move again. An orange is the policeman to clean the ascending colon, a tomato is the ambulance to clean the transverse colon, and a pineapple is the wrecker to clean the descending colon.”

“Freckles and liver spots are iron oxides that can be removed by eating a mixture of cashews, prunes, figs, and vitamin C morning foods.”

According to Kingzett’s Chemical Encyclopaedia, Ninth Edition, 1966 …

Calcium citrate “is soluble in cold water but nearly insoluble in hot water.”

<>

Don’t confuse the natural calcium citrate in an orange with the industrially-manufactured forms of calcium citrate …

monocalcium citrate / E333 (i)

dicalcium citrate / E333 (ii)

tricalcium citrate / E333 (iii)

<>

And the same goes for citric acid.

According to Ray Peat …

“Citric acid itself causes you to lose calcium in your urine. Lactate is another popular supplement. All of those have their anti-calcification effects, causing you to lose calcium or misplace it.”

<>

The best time to eat an orange is Spleen-Pancreas Time (9:00-11:00 a.m.).

The best time to eat a tomato is at Small Intestine Time (1:00-3:00 p.m.).

The best time to eat a pineapple is at Triple Heater Time (9:00-11:00 p.m.).

<>

How to prepare a boiled orange …

Put a room-temperature orange in enough room-temperature water for the orange to float.

(Adano commented, “You can’t drown an orange.”)

Bring the orange to a rolling boil and boil it for three minutes.

Remove the orange from the water with tongs so as not to burn your hands.

(Someone was burned reaching into the boiling water with their bare hands, and blamed Adano for it.)

Score the orange with a knife from stem to stern into four quarters.

Peel the skin off one section of the four quarters at a time to eat each section while it remains warm.

Swami Nitty-Gritty recommended inhaling from an orange peel as therapy for the lungs.

The best times to do this are …

    Lung Time, 3:00-5:00 a.m.

    Spleen-Pancreas Time, 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Hi Atom – I still don’t understand what boiling and orange does and the benefits of that? Can you explain?

It releases or activates (for want of better terms) vitamin C, bioflavonoids, riboflavin, orange oil, etc. in the orange.

But for the last several years, I’ve been getting just as good or better results with unheated oranges — truly a “miracle food.”

Since citrus is a loner, the cashews, fig etc for spotties…eat all the others together and wait the usual 45 min?

      Good question !!!!! :)

Re: “Freckles and liver spots are iron oxides that can be removed by eating a mixture of cashews, prunes, figs, and vitamin C morning foods [e.g., cherries, cherimoya, peaches, persimmons, etc.].”

The above combination works best at Stomach Time (7:00-9:00 a.m.).

Optionally, it can be backed up by eating an orange or two or three at Spleen-Pancreas Time (9:00-11:00 a.m.).

    Hi Atom,
    what is “a three-minute orange” ?
By ‘Citric acid’ you are referring to Vit C supplements (ascorbic acid) in the health shops ?
When you eat an orange you should avoid the sun for one hour ?

      1) An orange boiled for three minutes (instructions in blog entry).

      2) Re: “Freckles and liver spots are iron oxides that can be removed by eating a mixture of cashews, prunes, figs, and vitamin C morning foods [e.g., cherries, cherimoya, peaches, persimmons, etc.].”

Wasn’t there an exception to the rule, i.e. orange is OK with almond/s?!!

Yes. Almonds (“all world”) are the exception to the Citrus Rule. :)

Fascinating. Can you get the same affect from a tangerine or clementine? Or other citrus fruits in the same family? Or only strictly an orange…?

According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty), a tangerine works best of all.

Other citrus fruit seem to have remarkable healing properties too, despite grapefruit being the joker of the bunch.
