Detoxing Heavy Metals

Re: How can I detox heavy metals out of my body?

Detox with refined white table sugar and “foods with little or no nutritional value.”

Countless websites spew out things like …

“When you continuously consume sugar and foods with little or no nutritional value you are depleting your cells of vital micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), without adding anything back in.”

“Refined sugar contains no vitamins or minerals; therefore, it has absolutely no nutritional value. Furthermore, consumption of sugar depletes overall nutrient intake. This means that a person who consumes 20 percent of his total daily calories in sugar will have an equivalent reduction of vitamins and minerals of around 20 percent.”

Chelation therapists will correctly tell you that you can’t get the bad guys out without removing the good guys too.

Fortunately, the good guys outnumber the bad guys, so just don’t do extended eating of nothing but white table sugar and “foods with little or no nutritional value.”

One of the problems with detox programs is sussing out where the toxin goes.

Water fasting often drives heavy metals into the bone or connective tissue instead of into the toilet.

The same goes for dry fasting or juice fasting.

Most of the “heavy metal detox” advice floating around out there in cyberspace is counterproductive and often meant solely to suck money out of your wallets and purses.

Re: So is ALA as bad as mercury? Can’t I eat more omega 6 foods and still use ALA for chelation of mercury?

Give the boot to whomever is giving you health advice!

They don’t even know what a chelate is.

They don’t know that ALA makes mercury more toxic.

They don’t know the difference between ALA and LA.

Re: I’m trying to do research on colonics before getting one. I have been using the saline enemas as I literally “can’t go,” from being so backed up. Would it hurt to get one?

It almost never hurts as long as your colonic therapist is qualified.

If he or she recommends psyllium, grab your wallet and run out of the office!

It’s important to blenderize all your food for at least three days after treatment.

Nitric oxide is NOT safe, and it’s been known that citrulline and arginine were hazardous since the 1980s when I was in the “health food store” business.

Ray Peat has done entire shows on why NO is counterproductive. These shows are easy to find in cyberspace.

One day people will wake up to the fact that Big Sup is Big Pharma’s evil spawn.

According to Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty) …

“There are no years. Nobody lives years. That’s erroneous terminology.”
