Here’s why white folks gradually lose their color after a day at the beach …

In black skin, melanosomes are larger and remain free.

In white skin, melanosomes are scarfed up by autophagosomes and partially degraded.
This is regulated by the adrenal glands (formed from the neural crest).
Tanning is a sympathetic nervous system REFLEX – a cocainized bodypart won’t tan or burn until the anesthetic effect wears off.
White skin grafted on a black person turns black, and vice versa for a white person – independent of exposure to light.
Melanin is closet adrenaline (and noradrenaline and dopamine).

Melanin is the pigment and melatonin is the bleach.

Re: moles and freckles?

They’re often local nonthreatening versions of the global hyperpigmentation of Addison’s disease.
Both are adrenal gland scenarios involving tyrosine and phenylalanine.
You can tan your arm by rubbing it for extended periods of time or by applying ice to it – irritative heat flow factors.
Melanin acts like the heat sink protecting the CPU of a computer.

The sudden appearance of moles or freckles is tied to pneumonia … a cholesterol-involved defense against cancer.

Cholesterol is a necessary part of the body’s backup sympathetic nervous system.

Cholesterol plus sunlight = LIFE. Cholesterol minus sunlight = DEATH.

M. Luckiesh and A.L. Pacini (1926) wrote …

“Cholesterol obtained from an experimental animal’s blood unexposed to ultraviolet radiation and kept in the dark for about a week is incapable of supplying growth-producing reaction when fed to a mouse on a vitamine-free diet, but if the animal is irradiated under ultraviolet radiation for a total exposure equivalent to one minute per gram weight of animal at 75 volts and 40 inches from the uviarc source, the cholesterol obtained from the blood is then capable of sustaining life.”

Are you saying that melanin is part of the adrenal gland?
What are those two things atop of the kidneys for then?

The adrenal medullae utilize one type of melanin to convert solar radiation into red light.

“Those two things atop of the kidneys” are the smallest parts of the adrenal glands, while the medullae are the smallest parts of the dermal nervous system.

Some of their functions are listed in physiology textbooks.
