Our Skin-Heart Axis
Once upon a time in a laboratory far, far removed from common sense, the beaker boys divided the autonomic nervous system into two groups …
1) Sympathetic Chain of Little Brains
2) Parasympathetic Chain of Little Brains
They concocted the notion of antagonism between the two chains.
On a bad hair day, perhaps that’s true.
But most of the time, the two chains are blissfully married for life.
It’s a marriage that cannot be put asunder.
“What God Has Conjoined, Let No Man Put Asunder.”
1) The Sympathetic Chain is the Breadwinner — the “Move It or Lose It” autonomic partner.
2) The Parasympathetic Chain is the Homemaker — the “Rest It or Digest It” autonomic partner.
The “para” in parasympathetic doesn’t mean “beyond,” as in “paranormal.”
It means “alongside,” as in “parathyroid” or “paraumbilical.”
“Move It” is activated when you stand on your own two feet.
“Rest It” is activated when you sit on your own two butt cheeks.
Both are necessary!
I’m not dissing the second, but I’m not dissing the first either by all that “fight or flight” malarkey.
Then guess what happened more than a century ago?
A third chain of little brains was discovered by two beaker boys.
Sir William Maddock Bayliss (1860-1924) and Ernest Henry Starling (1866-1927) discovered the Gut-Brain Axis, and (allegedly) John Newport Langley (1852-1925) labeled it the Enteric Nervous System.
The Enteric Nervous Chain of Little Brains is not a bachelor.
“For Every Yin, There Is a Yang.”
The Enteric Chain is married to the Dendritic Chain — our Skin-Heart Axis.
You won’t find jack squat about it in cyberspace.
Well, I haven’t found anything. Let me know if you do.
The Skin-Heart Axis was discovered by two General Electric beaker boys about a century ago.
It was quickly forgotten by their less diligent contemporaries.
Only vestiges of its existence are evident when you come across isolated factoids such as …
1) L- phenylalanine is an effective treatment for vitiligo (vit-ih-LIE-go).
2) Cocaine plus solar radiation sometimes creates “purple people.”
The Dendritic Chain is the breadwinner, and one of its “Little Brains” is the adrenal medulla, mostly located in our SKIN.
Using an analogy, Wal-Mart’s corporate office is in Bentonville, Arkansas, but its 4,769 stores are all over the world.

Re: Do you offer consultations when on blood tests?
I can only discuss them in general to avoid breaking the law.
My credentials — W.D. (Witch Doctor) and S.D. (Science Denier) — are not recognized in the U.S. at the present time.
What blood test or tests are you referring to? Most of them are either out of context or irrelevant.
(1) Circadian Timing and (2) Hierarchic Organization are almost always overlooked.
Medical tests often look for the keys you dropped on the other side of the road on their side of the road because that’s where their light pole is.

Re: Does the medulla oblongata have anything to do with the Skin-Heart Axis?
Yes, the Mouth of God definitely does.

I mentioned The Great Gama on yesterday’s One Radio Network show (October 21, 2019).
Gama had an intense DAILY workout schedule, including …
1) 5,000 “Gama squats”
2) 3,000 standing push-ups
3) wrestling up to 40 wrestlers
4) wrestling trees (yes, trees!)
Gama’s DAILY diet included …
1) over 2 gallons of milk
2) 6 Desi Murga chickens
3) 1.5 pounds of crushed almonds
The almonds were mixed with fruit juice and added to his milk.
