George Altgelt

Central Texas Gardener

Organic Gardening, Revitalizing Soil, Lawn Tips

For all you garden lovers out there, you are in for a real treat. George Altgelt, an owner of Geogrowers out of Austin, Texas, gave us an excellent jam packed hour of information on organic gardening. He gives practical and easy tips for growing and raves about Michelle Obamas new book American Grown. He went into the history of the Victory Gardens during WW2 explaining how and why the U.S. was, at that time, considered the healthiest place to live. And we believe it can be again. We like his spiritual and passionate approach. This is a great show. Enjoy!
