Atom’s journey towards health, nutrition, longevity, and meditation goes back to 1955, when he first started reading books by D.C. Jarvis, J.I. Rodale, Carlton Fredericks, Adelle Davis, Aldous Huxley, Paramahansa Yogananda, Swami Prabhavananda, and numerous others. His exposure to the above mentioned authors instigated a deep desire and passion to understand and unlock the secrets to optimal human wellness and longevity.

Atom was inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson: “School teaches all of the branches, but none of the roots.” He sought the answers to his questions, not in classrooms, but in books, relationships, and life experiences. His quest for true knowledge and wisdom began by studying in hundreds of libraries across the country and evolved by studying with teachers and masters including Swami Adano Ley, Sufi Adnan Sarhan, Rabbi Michael Shapiro, Taoist Master Yun Xiang Tseng, and Fitness Icon Gypsy Boots.

His most significant teacher was Swami Adano Ley with whom he spent 14 years. During this time, he studied a variety of sciences extensively, including the sun centric lifestyle, and ultimately graduated from Adano Ley’s Texas Institute of Reflex Sciences. The knowledge and wisdom he gained studying under a highly evolved swami combined with his emphasis on scientific research & personal experience would soon become the heartbeat of Sun Sync Nutrition.

For the past 40 years, Atom has dedicated his life to the continuous learning and teaching of Sun Sync Nutrition, Time Conscious Eating, Cosmo-Chemistry, Reflexology, Muscle Response Testing, Body Language Analysis, Iris Analysis, Lucid Dreaming, Meditation and many other sciences.

    Hydration is ELECTROSTATIC (Yin). Dehydration is QUANTUM (Yang).

    Emanuel Revici, M.D. (Research In Physiopathology As Basis Of Guided Chemotherapy—With Special Application To Cancer, 1961) wrote …

    “Normal subjects whose urines were tested for certain periods of time for their content of ammonia, urea and uric acid, were given 1 to 2 liters of water to drink. The highly diluted urine which was subsequently excreted, became alkaline. The total amount of ammonia increased while urea and uric acid were slightly reduced. The same subjects were later given a dry diet for 12 hours or more. The specific gravity of the urine in most of these cases was above 1.026, indicating a kidney with normal concentration capacity. Although the content in ammonia decreased manifestly in these urines, the increase in uric acid excreted was minimal. We submitted the same subjects to a diet with fluids reduced to a minimum, for 3 to 4 days. Under these conditions, the excretion of uric acid started to increase. Great intake of water would thus transform a normal ureoselic individual into an ammonioselic in only a few minutes. A similar passage into uricoselic was seen to need days, and even then it showed only minimal changes. This can be explained by the fact that while ammonia in urine appears largely through changes taking place in the kidney cells themselves, uric acid results from more profound metabolic changes, which concern especially the nitrogenous bases, particularly the purines.”

    On the prune: Adano mentioned Potassium in the prune to promote peristalsis (bowel movement) in the morning. Atom has mentioned that the prune has the highest antioxidant concentration of all (common) the morning cycle foods.

      Studies show that prunes are even ahead of blueberries as an antioxidant.

      Take all these “scientific” studies with a grain of sodium chloride though.

      As Swami Nitty-Gritty phrased it …

    Hello, Atom!
    What’s in your educated opinion is more dangerous for the health – frying on refined sunflower oil (which not burns easily but has less vitamin E) or on unrefined sunflower oil (which burns easily but has more vitamin E)?
    P.S. I’m asking because where I live we have almost no access to coconut oil (especially good), and good olive oil is very expensive but we have an abundance of sunflower oil.

      Sunflower oil’s smoke point varies from 107°C/350°F to 232°C/450°F, and isn’t the highest choice.

      Clarified butter IS the highest choice (252°C/485°F), but if money is an issue, using butter (177°C/350°C) for low-heat frying would suffice.

      However, I’m impressed by the high vitamin E content in sunflower oil. It’s probably high enough in E to provide immunity against Broad-Spectrum Yellow Fat Disease (cumulative lipofuscinosis).

      By the way, baking with oil rather than frying with oil is a higher choice.

      Vibrant Gal bakes our eggs in coconut oil — it’s inexpensive and readily available where we live.
