Mesmerism’s Vital Fluid

James Esdaile (Mesmerism in India, and Its Practical Application in Surgery and Medicine, 1903) wrote …

“In considering a subject so new and wonderful, it will be necessary to clear away many thorns and thistles which have grown up in the mental soil, exhausting its strength, and unfitting it for receiving the seeds of truth, however freely and carefully sown. At present it will be sufficient, if, as a preliminary, the reader will dismiss the respectable old notion, that the vital powers of our bodies are confined within their own limits, and cannot be transferred to and act upon others. On the contrary, there is good reason to believe that the vital fluid of one person can be poured into the system of another, upon which it has various effects, according to constitutional peculiarities, the demand for it as a remedy, and the manner and extent to which it is exhibited in order to answer different purposes. Man is not, as commonly supposed, shut up in that pent-house, his body, isolated, and impotent to affect his fellow creatures beneficially by a benevolent will, and his own innate resources. A merciful God has ingrafted a communicable, life-giving, curative power in the human body, in order that when two individuals are found together, deprived of the aids of art, the one in health may often be able to soothe and relieve his sick companion, by imparting to him a portion of his vitality. To believe that we possess such a power is, surely, a proud and exalting idea, which I hope the public will entertain with pleasure; and I trust to be able to prove to the satisfaction of all dispassionate and reflecting minds, that this is no fond delusion of an excited brain, but a substantial blessing, daily at work for good, extending immeasurably man’s individual power of doing good by his unaided natural powers, and bringing healing and comfort to suffering humanity, all over the world.”

According to the Christian Bible …

“(24) And Jesus went with him [Jairus]; and much people followed him, and thronged him. (25) And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, (26) And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, (27) When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. (28) For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. (29) And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.”

The crowd was “thronging” Jesus.

He was being pressed — and obviously being touched — on all sides.

What was different when this “certain woman” TOUCHED Jesus’ garments after she “had suffered many things of many physicians?”

Re: So so many definitions of “structured” water and ways to produce or detect it, what version are you referring to?

If ya can’t chew it, it ain’t structured.

Water was a favorite of cultists aeons before Ponce de Leon went bug-eyed over the Fountain of Youth.

Gilbert Ling knows more about structured water than Gerald Pollack, but reading Ling makes my head hurt.

Remember Willard Water’s “catalyst altered structure”?

Turned out silica molecules were in it from storing it in glass bottles.

As a very general rule, since no one knows what’s really in the vaccines (and there are different versions in the same company’s vaccine as well as in different companies), raise your metabolic level by eating sugar and/or sweet fruit, use red light therapy (ideally in a darkened room for at least 24 hours after the jab), do bag breathing in the evening only, and — above all — AVOID STRESS.

Remaining acidic and anabolic prevents inflammation. (I’ve written numerous blog entries on One Radio Network about acid-alkaline balance.)

Consider making plans for alternate work because the jab is going to be required every year hereafter, and the damage is accumulative and multi-generational.

Hi Atom, would the red light therapy and bag breathing be good for other events like x-ray and dental work?
      What does the stress cause?

Yes. Stress is generally alkaline, so any acidifying strategy can help.

Hey Atom, what’s your preferred food source of retinol? Thanks again!

      Baby vegetables.

People with metabolic disorders (cancer, diabetes, hypothyroidism, etc.) can’t make the conversion of carotene to vitamin A with grace and ease, so it’s their highest choice to eat as many baby vegetables as possible.

Don’t confuse “baby veggies” with dwarf varieties.

According to Wikipedia (last edited Dec. 27, 2020) …

“Edith Adelaide Roberts (1881-1977) was an American botanist studying plant physiology and a pioneer in plant ecology. She created the first ecological laboratory in the United States, promoted natural landscaping along with Elsa Rehmann, and proved that plants were the main source of vitamin A.”

Thanks for the info! I’m working on correcting my hypothyroidism using Ray Peat’s and Broda Barne’s research. I’m trying to fix it with diet alone so I can avoid taking supplemental T3/T4. It’s improving so far! Maybe for now I’ll stick with animal sources of retinol since I might not be able to convert carotene to vitamin A as effectively.

That’s the point. Baby vegetables DON’T contain carotenoids. They DO contain RETINOL.

Retinol is converted into carotenoids in vegetables, not the other way around.

Some “experts” — I won’t mention any names! — think you can only get retinol from animal products.

But animals can manufacture retinol too.

The liver has much in common with plant life; that’s why it requires so much retinol.

Scientists are experimenting with growing livers from “seed.”

According to a Vassar alumnae publication, Roberts and Mildred Southwick presented a 1948 paper to the Electron Microscope Society of America saying that young green and yellow plants are the original source of Vitamin A.
I would like to know more about their research. Do you have access to their research paper, or do you know where information about their research is available? Did anyone ever try to dispute their research?

Most of my info on the subject came from medical and universal libraries.

It was a top news story of 1948, reported in journals, magazines, and even The New York Times.

Edith Roberts was a professor at Vassar College in New York, so they undoubtedly have archived her writings and documents …
